Our Peat Free Compost is perfect for:

  • Fast Germination.
  • Enhanced aeration and drainage.
  • Improved root growth.
  • Rooting cuttings and growing them on.
  • Also ideal for growing succulents.

This compost expands to 15 litres, just add 5 litres of water!
Full instructions on packaging.
15L (once expanded)
Our Coco Peat Free Seed Sowing Compost is easy to use and has a nice fine texture for seed sowing. The Coco Block swells in minutes when 5 litres of lukewarm tap water is added. Once swelled it holds moisture so if used straight away there is no need to re-wet before sowing. Germination and seedling development is equal to Peat.
Kings Peat Free Seed Sowing Compost contains Perlite to aid drainage and a small amount of feed to help seedling development.
Contains no animal products so also suitable for vegan gardeners.

15 litres of compost will fill approximate 8x half seed trays or 24x 9cm pots. (See images)

TOP TIPS FOR GROWING IN PEAT FREE COMPOST
• Check your Water. Peat free coir compost often looks dry on top but can still be wet below. Press your finger into the surface to check if it is still damp, then water as required.
• Feed the Seeds - This compost has just enough feed for the seedlings to germinate. They will need feeding with a dilute liquid feed after approx 3-4 weeks (once first true leaves have developed).
