Where to Sow Bam Bam Mixed Bellis Seeds

Seeds can be sown  in a well prepared seed bed about 6mm (0.25in) deep.
Alternatively, sow seed on the surface of a good free draining seed compost and lightly cover seeds with a fine sprinkling of vermiculite. Germination usually takes 14-21 days.

What to do Next

Direct sown seedlings can be thinned out to 10-15cm (4-6in) apart when they are large enough to handle and then finally transplant to flowering site in autumn 23cm (9in) apart in sun or part shade for flowering.
Tray sown seedlings can be transplanted when large enough to handle into pots or trays and grown on in a cool sheltered place outdoors till ready for planting into borders or containers in the autumn.
