Where to sow

Sow in trays of moist seed compost and cover the seeds with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a warm place and keep at a temperature of between 20-25°C.

What to do next

Prick off glasshouse seedlings into trays when large enough to handle. Gradually harden off before planting out 25-30cm (10-12") apart once all risk of frost has passed.
