Passion flowers are climbing plants with slightly fragrant white and blue flowers.
Although it is normally grown under cover, in mild areas or sheltered spots it is often quite hardy (The hardiest of passion flowers). Germination is erratic and can take anywhere from 1-12 months. Flowers June to September. Height 500cm.

In seed trays at 18°C. Cover with glass or polythene to retain moisture.

What to do Next

When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into individual pots and grow on. Gradually harden off and plant out from May onwards. As these are climbing plants, we recommend trellis or framework for these plants to climb up.
