When to Sow Praire Sun Rudbeckia Seeds

Where to sow

On the surface of good free draining seed compost in pots or trays. cover with a very fine sprinkling of vermiculite or compost. Place in a propagator or a warm place at a temperature of 20-25°C until germination which usually takes 7-21 days. Do not exclude light as this helps germination.

What to do next

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost has passed, 30cm (12") apart.
