Sow Erigeron seeds from January to July. Can also be sown undercover in October and planted out in spring.

Where to Sow

Sow onto moist well-drained seed compost and lightly cover with vermiculite. Place at a temperature 15-20°C where germination can take 14-30 days.

What to do Next

When large enough to handle transplant seedlings to 8cm pots or modular trays and growing on in a cool greenhouse. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions, before planting out in moist well drained soil in full sun, 25cm apart after all risk of frost has passed.

Handy Tip

Plants are hardy in warmer regions otherwise they may require some light frost protection.
