Sow seed under glass at 14-15° C.

What to do Next

Prick off seedlings as soon as they can be handled into individual pots.  Harden before planting into the growing site in late May or June.  Plant in a trench 40cm wide and 30cm deep, spacing 35-45cm apart, gradually filling in the trench as the plant grows.
