Tomato Buffalosun F1 PPP A.Solanum lycopersicum B.GB40557 C.lot pkt D.GB

Buffalosun F1 tomato seeds produce very productive yellow beefsteaks with a red flame through the flesh. Exceptional sweet flavoured flesh and good late blight resistance, making it ideal for growing outside or under cover.
Tomatoes can grow up to a whopping 700g, and have very little seeds!
For best performance, we'd recommend staking them.

When to Sow Buffalosun Tomato Seeds

January to April

Plant Out

April to June

Harvest

July to October

Where to Sow

Sow seeds under glass 0.5cm (1/4 in) deep in pots or trays of good seed sow-ing compost and lightly cover with a sprinkling of vermiculite or compost. Place containers in a propagator at a temperature of 18–21C.

What to do next

Prick out seedlings, once large enough to handle, into 9cm (3 1/2in) pots. Transplant to the greenhouse border soil, or  individual large pots, or 3 plants per growbag when 20cm (8in) high. Can also be planted outdoors once all risk of frost has passed. Plants require side shoots removing and some support for the best yields. Water and feed plants regularly with a high potash feed once the first truss has set.

Handy Tip

If growing outside pinch out the growing tip after 4-5 trusses of fruit have set.
