On the surface of a good seed compost at a temperature of 20-23°C (68-73°F) for germination. Seedlings will appear after about 10-15 days.

Prick out when passed the seed leaf stage into trays 5cm (2") apart and grow on. Harden off prior to planting out in flowering position.
