When to Sow Cotton Candy Mix Gypsophila Seeds

Sow Februury of March. Plant out May to June.

Flowers

July to October

Where to Sow

Sow in trays of moist seed compost and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a warm place and keep at a temperature of between 20-25°C (68-77°F).

What to do Next

When large enough to handle, transplant the small clusters of seedlings into pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost has passed, at 15-30cm (6-12") apart. Plant in well-drained soil in full sun.
Alternatively early sowings can be made under glass, sowing 2-3 seeds per module filled with moist seed sowing compost and lightly cover the seeds with vermiculite. Germination should occur within 7-14 days.

Handy Tip

The dainty clouds of flowers and delicate fern like foliage also look great tum-bling over the edges of a basket or containers.
