When to Sow The Chatelaine Lupin Seeds

Early April to early June. Soak seed overnight 12 - 15 hours before sowing

Where to Sow

In open ground or cold frame. We would suggest that when watering the seed if possible you use a Soluble Fungicide to prevent damping off, which can cause the plant to wilt and die back.

When to Transplant

Thin out seedlings as they grow to 5cm apart. Plant out during September and October spacing 30cm apart for flowering throughout the following summer.

Handy Tip

Pick and deadhead any faded lupin flowers to encourage a second growth.
