Where to Sow Cornflowers

Sow seeds outside - In September or early spring in any cultivated garden soil in full sun.
Inside - In trays is not recommended as Cornflower does not transplant satisfactorily.

INTERESTING FACT
Also known as Bachelor's Buttons, Bluebottle and Hurtsickle. In the past it grew as a weed in corn field, hence it's name. Cornflowers were also used in the funeral wreath of Tutankhamun.
