Compact and early fruiting capsicum frutescens type, bred for pots or patio containers, and capable of producing over 75 fruits per plant. Fruits are 5-6cm long and approx. 2g in weight, and ripen from bright green to red and have a medium-strong heat, with a Scoville heat rating of 40,000 SHU.

February to April. Plant out May to June.

Late July to Ocotber.

Where to Sow

Sow seed on the surface of a free draining seed sowing compost in pots or trays and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite and place at a temperature 18-21C until seeds germinate.

What to do Next

Prick out seedings when large enough to handle into 7cm (3in) pots and grow on underglass. Once plants reach 10cm (4in) high transplant into growbags or 25cm (10in) pots and grow on underglass. Feed once a week with tomato fertiliser once first fruits have set.

Move containers outside to a patio once all risk of frost has passed. In autumn move back undercover to ripen any remaining fruits.
