How to Sow Cupani Sweet Pea Seeds

Sow outside in September or April into the flowering site. Sow inside from October to March. Sow 5 seeds into a 7.5cm deep pot and keep in a cold frame of glasshouse. Harden off in March prior to planting out in early April, with 15cm spacings (6")
Direct sowings should be placed into the flowering site at 2cm deep. These can be thinned out to 10cm apart.
Plants would benefit from support. Grow over trellis, arches or teepees for a beautiful deep purple and maroon display, or plant at the back of a border.
Pinch out the tops once the plants have established 3 pairs of true leaves. This will promote new and stronger growth. Sweet pea plants would benefit from soil dressing or feeding the foilage at fortnightly intervals.
