Sweet Pea Millennium

Highly Scented   Good for Exhibition   RHS Award of Garden Merit

Millennium Sweet Pea Seeds

Millennium is a highly scented Spencer type which is an ideal choice for the show bench with its strong stems and beautiful large ruffled blooms of a stunning magenta rose colour. This variety also makes a good cut flower in the home.

Kings seeds recommend sowing seeds into a good quality seed sowing compost and water only with tap water. Do not use butt water as this can contain harmful pathogens, resulting in poor germination.

Where to Sow Sweet Pea Seeds

September sowings in flowering site 2cm (1") deep. Later sowings in pots, five seeds in each. October and November sowings in a cold frame. January sowings in an unheated glasshouse. March sowings in a cold frame. April sowings direct in flowering site.

What to do Next

Seedlings that have been raised in a glasshouse should be hardened off during March.
In April, plant out pot grown seedlings in the flowering site 15cm (6") apart.
Thin direct sown seedlings to 10cm (4") apart. Pick flowers regularly to encourage new growth.

Maturity

Late June to September
